"We keep coming back because this has become our pup’s favorite staycation spot. He loves the large yard, watching the trails from the windows, and exploring the nearby beach and hiking trails with us.The home is simple, comfortable, and has everything needed for a few days away. During our last stay, the yard had become overgrown with foxtails, which can be dangerous for dogs. The owners responded quickly and sent a gardener, but the clippings were left behind, so we weren’t comfortable letting...

"This is a very good place for a short stay. It is a bit small and the kitchen is small and does not support cooking meals. The view is somewhat limited butthe ocean is visible from the great windows. The location is excellant. There is plenty to do nearby from a hiking and nature standpoint and there are very good restaurants in nearby Half Moon bay. The host was very resposive."

"This location was perfect for us, Very clean, pretty garden and nice double patio with ocean view. Comfortable and great location, and quiet all in all. Could hear the ocean at times. Close to Pillar Point and 10 mins from Half Moon Bay. Would recommend and plan to return sometime."

"We really like the area and the building is walkable to were we go. Our room is over a garage but more than enough space for me and my fiancé. The patio area outside of the room is a nice spot to hangout and watch a sunset or just chit chat. The room even had a hot plate. We didn't need to use it. Still good to know. We'll for sure be back when we go out that way again. Also, the food by the water is so good."

"My group of four ladies had a fantastic weekend stay! Clean, orderly lodging. I got the top bunk, very comfy. Weather was on the cool side, we all took full advantage of the hot tub. Charming property, beautiful yard with plants. Loved the ocean view from the top deck. Quick drive to downtown half moon bay. Even faster drive for breakfast at The Pilot Light!"
