"Beautiful place, needs some tender loving care. Patio/porch had boards that are rotting. Room was very damp. Stairs closed off due to wood rotting. Dont try making money in the summer time, lower your prices, no way should you have to pay per person to ride the ski lift, or play axes, putt putt, everything is over priced. I would love to return, due to the cost for four nights I do not see it in our future"

"The Treehouse is magical and so fun! Every touch was enchanting and our family especially loved searching for gnomes on the private hike around the property. We came through the area for 2 nights on our way to visit Washington DC. We hiked and explored Ohiopyle including a rafting trip and visiting Falling Waters. Loved our time! "

"This was a great cabin property that is walking distance from a winery - but was for me even greater for allowing quick access to Ohiopyle (hiking) and Morgantown (WVU graduation weekend at a very affordable rate). The cabin was clean and well-maintained, the decks were very nice for enjoying the peaceful creek below. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the home felt very safe - I’d definitely stay again in the future. "

"We had a great time at the house! 7 men stayed for an archery shoot at the mountain and it was perfect with plenty of sleeping for all of us. Highly recommend and Jen was very easy to work with!"

"Everything was perfect except:- Toilet did not flush well. Clogged a couple times.I had to plunge it.- the neighbor was shooting a pistol in his back yard at 5PM. That was weird. - please replace the mattress on the bed. It is well worn. Some landscape work would be nice. "

"Last minute trip to get away for some weekend fun. Weather was cold and rainy, and I spent an evening in the hospital after getting knocked out whitewater rafting. Not my idea of fun. However, the cabin, ambience, hospitality, and friendly community made this one of my favorites of all time. My bird dogs also had the time of their lives!!!"

"The location to activities and nature combined with the amenities on site was perfect for our way too short weekend getaway. Would love to stay here again as our family has loved the Somerset area for a few years now. "

"Wooded and beautiful, close to winery and restaurants, short drive to Ohiopyle. The house was lovely, especially the living room with a gas fireplace and comfy couch. The deck has a great view of the creek and the kitchen served our needs perfectly."

"The house was roomy, well laid out and accessible for use with a walker. There is a nice handicap accessible walk in shower. Plenty of comfortable seating. Convenient locatuin. The view of the river was very nice. Our only complaint is the 2 beds in the 3 season room are not useable in colder nights, a small heater would be great in the cooler months"

"Fern Rock Cabin was an excellent choice for our one week stay in the Farmington/Ohiopyle area. The cabin was clean, kitchen items were numerous, rooms are spacious and furniture was comfortable. I would highly recommend the cabin for anyone or group who enjoys the outdoors and needs a relaxing place to kick back after a long day exploring. Just a short drive from the cabin are numerous waterfalls, hiking trails Ohiopyle State Park, Bear Rock Preserve, Quebec Run Wild area part of Forbes State...

"Paulina took long time to respond when the lock was not programmed. Asked several question with no or late responses. The house is amazing, the back steps-patio should have been blown off. Very clean."
