"As someone who has owned short term rentals in the past, I was very impressed with this property. The little details like kids toys, adult card games, and travel pamphlets made the stay even more convenient and enjoyable. The beds were extremely comfortable with a choice of pillow types. "We enjoyed our time at this vrbo. They have clearly put in a lot of effort to make a dated home feel modern. We appreciated all of the plugs, remote ceiling fans, bedroom lighting, etc. the kitchen may have been one of the best stocked that we stayed at with every kitchen gadget from a countertop ice maker (very helpful!) to a waffle maker. "Drove 7 hours with my daughter to visit her college she is attending in the fall. The code to access the fob worked perfectly and I was able to enter the building. Upon arriving at the door to enter the apartment, the same code that was supposed to work for the apartment door did not work. I contacted the host via phone, text, email, and VRBO and they were unresponsive. I was not able to enter the property and had to find separate accommodations. "This place was absolutely terrible. It was a basement efficiency that smelled musty and moldy. The carpet had been vacuumed but was old and gross. I have thrown better sheets in the trash and the comforter had stains on it. The mattress was not even a real mattress- it was an eggshell crate foam that buckled when you sat on it. The exceptional reviews are not real reviews. This was a total scam! "
