"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. "We had a great stay at the cottage! Beautiful sunsets and hosts were very responsive and helpful. "

"We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. "Beautiful home in a beautiful area. We really did enjoy our stay! Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Attentive, kind, and understanding. Would reccomend this spot to other people and would definitely stay again! "

"Home wad built in 1947 and is dated, original kitchen and and home had a musty smell. No throw pillows or blankets for sofas, no wine or beer glasses, no coffee table erc. Electrial not up to date, had to turn everything of when not home because it was considered a fire hazard. For the price expected more from VRVO."
