"The Candlebay Inn is a warm and cozy bed and breakfast. The house was built in the 1800’s which adds to its charm. Our family occupied two rooms and each room was clean and with the necessary amenities including private bathrooms. The owner, Connie, was very welcoming and provided us with a wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Maine!"

"It was great overall. We liked that they had beach chairs for guests to use, and the location was right on the beach. We were worried about the Murphy beds, but they were fine. The door to your room is a sliding one, and they are kind of hard to open. Also, I’m glad my mom brought shampoo, conditioner, lotion and etc, because they only have the little thing of conditioning shampoo and two little bars of soap in the room. "

"Easy check in. The room was nice and clean. The only complaint was the breakfast wasn’t the best. The eggs and sausages were very dry besides that everything else was wonderful "

"The location is perfect with the golf course right next door and sitting up on the hill overlooking the harbor. The restaurant serves wonderful meals, one of the best lobster bisque we’ve ever had. The wrap around porch is awesome with heaters. In saying all this, the inn needs some TLC. Our room had paint chipping on the walls and all around the shower. The shower head was awful. There isn’t a main door to the front desk and the one our driver brought us in was like we were walking into a...

"Very impressed with the facility. Centrally located. We had a bumpy start with the contact-less virtual check-in. But now that we know what needs to be done, it will be easier next time for us. Especially nice for anyone who is traveling on business and expects an extended stay in the area."
