A very enjoyable stay, clean and lovely room with a quiet A/C, courteous staff and a breakfast done to perfection.

It was only a one night stay in the 3 bedroom suite (Room#605), but is always a deep pleasure to return to sight of the Belle Epoque Hotel (or as we call it, The Grand Bucharest Hotel) and spend the evening walking Cișmigiu Park. The Five Star service, a wonderful relaxation round in the basement pool and Hammam Spa areas in the basement, followed by a delightful and well served meal at the on-the-premises restaurant, L’Atelier. Note: their hotel shuttle service costs the same 85 Euro, whether it is going to the Train Station (3km) or the airport (30km).

The room was spotless and the staff professional and accommodating. I’d come back again.

I booked a suite and the room itself was very beautiful and spacious. I did find it strange though that there were no wine glasses although the mini bar included both wine and champagne; when I asked a staff member about it she said I could collect glasses in the bar downstairs if I needed them. Another day when I asked for champagne I was served prosecco. And the breakfast buffet was really nothing special. The spa was excellent though, I was very happy both with the jacuzzi and sauna as well as with the massage I booked. All in all a beautiful hotel with a very good spa but service for me did not live up to what I’d expect from a 5 star hotel.
