Brand new, modern, private, and cozy 430 sq. ft apartment across from city park!

  • Perfect for 1-2 people! Please view all the pictures and read about the space. This is a one-bedroom unit attached to our newly built garage, which has a queen (with an adjustable base) and a twin-size bed in the bedroom. The couch pulls out to a twin bed in the living room as well.

    ***We apply for and receive an annual lodging license from the SD Department of Health, which means our property has passed their inspection.

    **If you have a boat, we can possibly accommodate parking in our backyard or garage if arranged in advance. Our rental is very private, and guests rarely see us after check-in, if at all. We have many repeat guests who love our cozy little place.

    The kitchenette has an air fryer oven, a Keurig and drip coffee maker, a microwave, a toaster, a one-burner hot plate, and small-sized cookware for your use. We have accommodated guests for long-term stays of multiple weeks, and they were able to make complete meals with what our kitchenette provided. You can also use our Blackstone or propane grill if you want to grill. There is one split cooling unit to keep you cool during your stay and baseboard heat to keep you warm. If a guest prefers to stay on an air mattress instead of the pullout couch, just let us know and we can provide one. We know that aging backs may not find a sofa bed comfy.

    *******We will allow hunting dogs in the garage only as long as guest provides the kennel. Garage temp is kept at 55 degrees in the winter and no dogs have complained about it yet. ;)

    This unit is non-smoking indoors and outdoors, so we appreciate your understanding. After the day spent in the area, sit out on the deck attached to the unit and enjoy the quiet of our great town! Or turn on the 55” TV and fireplace to relax! There are Hulu and Netflix accounts to use in the rental. We do have 3 Ring cameras on our property, with one being above the garage doors on the opposite side of this unit and the other two at the front and back doors of our home.

    If you want to check in early on the first day of your stay, just let us know an estimate of your arrival and it can possibly be ready a couple hours early.

    We are laid-back folks so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need something for your stay, we would be happy to oblige!

This was one of the best VRBO experiences ive had. The host was the best anything we needed was right there for us. I will be back again I recommend this place and give it a 10/10.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was cozy, clean and we felt right at home. We stayed with our 3 year old and had just enough room for the 3 of us. The hosts were great! They were incredibly responsive and had everything we needed. The little yard was perfect for us to sit outside in the evening and there was a park across the street. We were able to bring our boat and plug it in at night. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Such a cute place

This place was perfect for my visit to Mobridge. Owners made you feel like you were home and even provided a sweet treat for me. The weather was so cold but the apartment was so warm and cozy. It was nice they provided a pizza so I didn’t have to go out to grab something to eat my last night there. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Not only is this property perfect, but the hosts are, too!! The apartment has everything that would be needed for your stay as far as comfort and kitchen supplies goes. And if there's any questions or something needed, Mary is just a text message away and OH so helpful! She was the absolute BEST host, super helpful in finding out about local activities as well as dining suggestions. The location is perfect as it is just a block away from a grocery store, two blocks from a gas station, and literally right across the street from the most beautiful park. It's just incredibly nice to have a place to come back to in between activities and visits with family and it feels like home and not just a tiny/dingy motel room. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Mobridge and staying here again!

Enjoyed the stay, host very accommodating.

I booked this VRBO for our temporary medical provider. The host Mary was very accommodating, and our medical provider really enjoyed her stay. I highly recommend!!

Was very clean & everything we needed that you could possibly think of. Close to everything in town & Felt very safe! Host was great at communicating. Shower was very good size & Bed was comfortable. it had an electric cook to make your eggs in the morning. There isn’t an oven but they have a toaster oven/air fryer & also a microwave & pizza heater gadget. Towels & sheets smelt nice & clean. Free WiFi, complimentary snacks, coffee & water.
