"I was disappointed that it did not include servicing other than changing the rubbish bags. Beds were not remade each day and even though at time of booking it said spa baths in the unit, the spa did not work. Will not use the motel again."

Loved the walk-in shower! The room had cutlery, utensils, crockery and microwave which was handy. Plenty of storage space. Easy parking. Bar and restaurant onsite so option for room service too. Would happily return! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Motel de la Mer in Napier. The location was excellent - close to the waterfront, cafes, and the Art Deco centre of town, making it easy to explore everything the area has to offer. The room was modern, very spacious, and clean, with a comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities. Julian was very welcoming and accommodating, and check-in was quick and easy. "Great stay, perfect location with a beautiful view of the water. Loved the addition of a spa and washing and dryer and loved how the room had a split level. Had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay here. The only downside however, was that at bedtime we could hear what sounded like the washing machine/dryer from the rooms nearby, but thankfully the beds were comfy so we still got a nice sleep.
