Historic Stillwater Home close to downtown

This historic 1882 home is located in a charming neighborhood 0.5 miles from town. The house has been completely renovated and updated. It has 2 bedrooms with a family room that can be completely closed off for privacy/third bedroom. This home is located on the South Hill above the Chilkoot Stairs with astonishing views of downtown Stillwater and the river. Enjoy sitting on the front porch or the bonfire pit in the back yard. This house is about a ten minute walk to many restaurants, shopping, and the scenic St. Croix River. There is a queen size air-mattress available but please no more than 8 guests.

The owner is super friendly and very prompt in responding. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable and there was AC in both bedrooms. The grounds are well manicured and peaceful. Off street parking and a nice little coffee bar. Highly recommend and we would definitely love to come back! Very convenient to downtown as well.

Great home and location. Overall there was absolutely everything we needed in this cute home. Stephanie was easy to communicate with and she provided many extras such as coffe pods, creamer, charging cords for almost any device, excellent wifi. Upstairs bedroom and bath was roomy and comfortable, stairs were quite steep we felt. Downstairs bed and bath on the small side, but we used another room for our suitcases. The location is great.

Great house; gray location

Great house, excellent amenities and location. No central air , might be an issue for some in summer. We were there in 100 degree heatwave so it was fairly uncomfortable everywhere except main floor bedroom. But it was unusually hot, no fault of the property owner! An extra powerful fan or two might have helped, although two were available already.

Perfect place!

We met long time friends for two nights and this was perfect for us! Two bedrooms, two baths, complete kitchen and nice outdoor space for sitting and visiting. We have stayed at many places over the years and the attention to detail was the best that we have ever seen! And it was in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Family Home

My son and I stayed here for a few days and our host was responsive to all of our questions and requests. The house was clean and full of everything you need on vacation! Walking distance from town, it was the perfect location to walk everywhere! I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay when visiting Stillwater.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a guys night out in Stillwater. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and came fully stocked. Great communication and easy check in. Highly recommended.

Entrance code

Whoever was responsible for The entrance code failed to do so. We were able to get in the front door because it Was not shut properly, unbeknown to us. Came back from dinner and were completely locked out. Called owner who said it was our fault. She gave us a different code that worked Great little house but much further walk downtown then anticipated.

Perfect!

Really cool renovated old house. I believe it was built in the late 1800's. Very nice neighborhood. Unexpected amenities throughout the house. Clean and comfortable beds. Dog friendly. Love the front porch for morning coffee as the neighborhood wakes up! Close to all that Stillwater has to offer. Truly enjoyed my stay with my daughter and her little Chihuahua. Will do it again in a heartbeat!

Fun Girls Night!

We rented this home for a girls night/reunion. We had so much fun in all of the cute spaces. Everything was clean and the upstairs area was wonderful! Love how close/easy it was to get downtown Stillwater!

Lovely stay

This was a great place to stay in Stillwater. It was a comfortable, cute home with plenty of space to hang out for my husband and daughter and I. We enjoyed the outdoor space quite a bit, and we slept well on the comfy beds. We really loved the location, as it was a doable but slightly challenging walk to downtown - that was perfect for us!

Absolutely loved our stay! Had a girls night with a pretty large group and we were more than comfortable here. The kitchen is super well set up for cooking, and downtown is a very easy short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect summer stay!

Girls’ Trip to Stillwater

Can’t say enough about this great stay! Our host, Stephanie was so easy to work with and very quick to respond to questions. The house was so darn cute! It was the perfect choice for my dear friend and I to spend some enjoyable and relaxing time together. The house was meticulously decorated and so comfortable. This property is adorable! Nice mix of antique and modern decor. We stayed just one night after attending a wedding in Stillwater. Wish I could have stayed longer. Morning coffee on the front porch was peaceful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Thanks for having us!

Great place to stay

We had a group of 6 'older' women. We cooked dinner and breakfast. Plenty of room to move around and to sit and talk. Beds were very comfy. The owner put in extra effort to see that we were comfortable (snacks, etc).
