Right in the heart of downtown Stillwater, MN, along the St. Croix River valley, with the absolute best view and location in the area, the "Mini Me" of the Liftbridge Loft, is sharing the same roof deck entry to it's sister, "the big loft", right next door! Perfect if you need both to accommodate more guests, highly recommended! (The only area you are allowed to use on the roof is the pathway between the stairs and the door.) Walking distance to over 100 shops, over 30 amazing places to eat (some are award winning!), bike trails, bike and kayak rentals, footpaths, trails, hidden gems, and so much more, the list is endless!!! No parties or events are allowed anywhere on the property, per our city ordinance.

There's also no smoking of any kind allowed. The building, built in 1888, has gorgeous stone and brick walls, originally a warehouse, hard wood floors, renovated to 3 lofts in the late 80's early 90's, tons of character, perfect for vacation stays! We have the honor to be the place holders of this historic piece of architecture, we hope you enjoy it and respect it, as we do!

The location was what we wanted & the bed was comfortable. Not much else rated more than 1 or 2 stars. Buckling floor boards was a tripping hazard. Windows face East & curtains are sheer, making sleep on the morning difficult. Water leaked from the ceiling in 2 different spots. Our final weekend ( of a 2 week stay) fell on Lumberjack Days which meant we would have to park 2-5 blocks away—meaning 2 weeks worth of luggage would have to be lugged that far. Not acceptable response from owner.

Perfect stay!

We enjoyed our stay in the Mini-Me Loft in Stillwater. Clean, comfy & great location (just be ready to climb stairs) with a view of the liftbridge. Cheris was always prompt with replies. Definitely a good place to stay.

My favorite place

This is my second time staying here. It is my favorite Minnesota vacation place :) It is very spacious and cozy and the view is amazing along with being located in the heart of Stillwater.

The roof leaked. Bathroom looked clean, but tub/shower we decide not to use. Kitchen cabinet doors were sticky. The walk way was slippery, and needed handrails.

Great!

Great location to all the shops, restaurants and night life! Bedroom was next to outdoor Bar patio, bring a sound machine and you’ll be fine. This loft was perfect for a couple enjoying hoping around town in the fall.

Very disappointing

We decided to splurge on this VRBO for our wedding night and sadly, we regret doing so. We received communication from the host an hour after check-in stating that there were a "few small leaks" happening behind the front door. However, these were not small leaks. There were 3 pots/ pans overflowing. In addition, the roof was leaking in the bedroom that ended up staining the rental suit, which we were then charged for. Though the location is great, I cannot that recommend anyone stay here.

Great spot in the heart of Stillwater

This loft space was nice, clean, funky and great views of the St Croix. My daughter and I stayed and had a lovely time. Unfortunately due to some health issues that came up, we could only stay one of the two nights we had booked. We look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future.

Stillwater get away

We enjoyed the mini loft. It was clean, tasteful and a convenient location. We got used to the pigeon who lives under the door step and a couple screams of surprise. The refrigerator barely works and the fold out couch is broken and unusable. Weekend evenings are extremely loud and difficult to sleep without earplugs.

Mini-Getaway

Great location for exploring Stillwater. Nice and convenient with being in the heart of the downtown area! The only downside for us was parking. The stay comes with parking but we ran into the area being setup for Lumberjack Days. The parking area was being closed and there was no forewarning about it. Recommend the coffee shop below the loft! The owners (Matt and Adam) make great coffee and scones!

The loft is situated in downtown Stillwater, which is both charming and convenient for experiencing the town, but can be kind of loud at night. Bring a white noise machine for sleeping. A non-dripping ceiling and functioning refrigerator would have been nice and were not charming.

Great location right downtown near the bridge providing great views. Rooftop location a little misleading but a great view to stand out and look. Check the addresses closely as the one listed is different from actual as N & S are backwards. Good space, beautiful brick walls, but could upgrade couch & TV service. Would stay again!

Another Wonderful Stay!

Excellent Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Arrived Wednesday for the best party night of the year and had the rest of the holiday/weekend with family. Love the Lift Bridge Lofts!!

Quaint place, comfortable

We had a great stay, nice location, and comfortable all around. The property manager was very responsive. The only tiny complaint is that the walls are pretty thin, seemed like our neighbors were either shouting or talking loudly. Other than that, it was a good stay, and the people in Stillwater are very friendly and we had several great meals and drinks there. I'd stay there again for sure!
