    Nestled in the Adirondack Mountains, Minerva's Log Cabin Gem is the perfect stay for families and groups alike. Offering a relaxing and unforgettable stay, this home is only a short driving distance to Gore Mountain, and steps away from miles and miles of snowmobile and local hiking trails. This home is offered year round and compliments any stay in any season. The updated Rustic cabin offers small town charm and a true Adirondack experience without loosing any charm or character. Guests will find exposed wood beams, log walls, and a combination of brick and stone accents throughout the home. Central to the home is a large authentic wood burning stove to warm up around after being out enjoying all the activities the Adirondack Park has to offer.



    The Space:

    This home is the perfect gathering space with 3 bedrooms (one king bed, and 2 single beds in each of the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms). There is no lack of space for all ski, snowmobiling and hiking gear guests might bring. The kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances (note there is no dishwasher in the home). Enjoy plenty of space to prepare tasty meals and snacks on the gas stove and enjoy an open dining room for all to gather. The updated bathroom offers double sinks and a large shower. Board games, toys and children's books are provided. Wifi is throughout the home so you are always connected and able to share your experiences with friends and family. Spend your mornings and cozy evenings on the screened porch enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine after a fun-filled day exploring. Firewood is provided so there is no excuse to not take advantage of the wood burning stove or the fire pit outdoors. Minerva is a scenic rural town in the southern Adirondacks, famous for outdoor recreation, rich timber history, and deep-rooted local heritage. Your stay here will be an experience that keeps Guests coming back year after year.

Rustic getaway

We went for a fall getaway and found the cabin to be cozy and comfortable. There’s no TV so you can totally unplug and relax. There’s lots of hiking nearby and beautiful views from the mountain tops. We also enjoyed a bonfire outside but we couldn’t find any lawn chairs so bring your own.

Cozy cabin in a great location

The cabin was just as advertised and a perfect home base for our family ski trip to gore mountain. Rustic but comfortable, the cabin had everything we were looking for in a great location about 15 mins from gore mountain and about 10 mins from the town of north creek. The beds were very comfortable and we loved using the wood burning stove after a long day on the slopes. Vacasa made accessing the cabin easy to find and check in and out. I would recommend for any family looking for an authentic, rustic log cabin nestled in a beautiful setting at a good price.

Perfect Retreat

The location of the cabin was perfect for a ski weekend away. Gore Mtn is a mere 15 mins away. The secluded \ quiet and cozy cabin made for a perfect long weekend getaway. The directions to get there was very clear and the access to the Cabin was very easy. Walking in, you arrive to a large dining room table that has plenty of space for boots and jackets and ample dining space. It can also serve as a great place for playing cards\games. The quaint kitchen has all the appliances needed for meal prep and cooking. Past the kitchen is a great open living room that is perfectly decorated with the charm of a true rustic log cabin. An amazing wood stove serves as a great place to have a warm fire after a great day of outdoor activities (the central heating operates perfectly fine, that if you didn't want to start a fire it was warm and comfortable). A stereo system to play your favorite tunes while you relax on the comfy chairs and recliner couches rounds out the experience. The cabin has some great games to entertain kids and adults of all ages. We actually got rained in one day and had a blast laughing and playing games indoors. The bedrooms are very spacious and can easily fit large families. The bathrooms have the perfect combination of old world charm with a modern spa feel. Lastly, if you have to use it, the Wi-Fi worked great and was performant to check in on reality. I'd highly recommend this place for family trips or guys\girls outings.
