There was constant traffic with workers on side by sides which kicked up a lot of dust and made sitting outside difficult. The cottage was run down and the bed was the worst we’ve ever slept in. If we went back to the area, we would stay somewhere else."

Kitchen cookware left something to be desired and there wasn’t a very efficient way to make ice as the icemaker in the fridge didn’t seem to be connected and the only alternative was a couple of ice trays (one of which was cracked and unusable on one end).On the whole though, not a bad place and I would stay here again."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. We had check in info sent ahead of time and were able to just drive up to our cabin and go on in. We had an electrical issue with the television and the host fixed it immediately and was extremely helpful. Just know WiFi is very limited, don’t expect to stream tv shows, but they also have a HUGE library of movies available. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This was a last minute booking for a trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The location was perfect and only a couple of miles from a place to grab pizza for dinner after a day of hiking! The house was perfect for us and Angela left us 6 fresh eggs from the chicken coop out back so breakfast was easy!! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lassen!"

"We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...
