"Our stay at Guesthouse Koundo was excellent. It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. We were kindly allowed to leave our bags early, which was a great help because we had a lot of luggage.

"We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. Our Hostess was fantastic and really is what drives the five star review.
She went above and beyond from the first moment, ensuring we were picked up at the train station right through being dropped off again after refusing to call a cab and insisting on taking us herself! She also unexpectedly provided fresh bread for breakfast along with fruit and juice boxes. She was extremely easy to reach if we had any questions or issues and was always pleasant...

"家族3人＋ペット1で利用しました。
他の方のレビューでもあるようにクーラーはないので猛暑日は扇風機持参をお勧めします。
また施設周辺に野生動物のフンが落ちており、夜間の施設外への出歩きは警戒した方がいいかもしれません。
小雨でしたが、タープテントも備え付けてあり問題なくBBQ出来ました。"
