"My favorite location to stay in Milwaukee. Beautiful part of town, close to Lake. Rooms are very comfortable. The beds and pillows are great for sleeping. The breakfast options are very delicious, and the courtyard eating area outside is very pretty.. However, breakfast service was extremely slow. Server kept apologizing but did not get coffee refills, condiments, etc without asking several times. Food was delicious."

We really love the location as there’s always something going on at the marina or downtown. Within walking distance to whatever you need. It’s also very reasonable to stay here versus a hotel. "This was a unique opportunity for us and something we will definitely do again! The Marina was very quiet (we stayed Sunday through Thursday). It was nice to sit outside and relax and watch the birds during the day and other wildlife (American Mink!) in the harbor at night. It was our first vacation in many years and being on the Irish Mist really took us away from our usual patterns. Everything was clean and the separate "rooms" gave us the ability to stay organized and make our own meals...

"For other travelers considering this spot, just know it's a basement apartment, below a house in a subdivision. I could hear feet walking overhead and voices. The best part is the back porch and view of the trees and creek. I spent a lot of time sitting out there listening to the birds. Inside the space, it's a little dark, and some of the electrical outlets don't work. I had to move the coffee pot and try a few to get my laptop to charge. I still had a pleasant stay and loved the peaceful view."
