"Not really great for 3 couples. The commute to the bathroom could be dangerous. We were 6 aging baby boomers. The listing indicated there were 2 full baths but did not specify that one of the bathrooms was part of the master suite, so that the poor schmucks in the second bedroom had a major downstairs commute to use the loo in the middle of the night. The stairs were steep and the last riser on the top of the stairs was shorter than the rest, providing a real hazard. Th first time I took teh...

"The Schlitz Castle provided a home base for 4 days and 3 nights of family adventures. Having rented multiple VRBO properties from coast to coast and throughout the Midwest, my family agrees that this was the best property yet. The layout fit our three-generation family of seven (2 seniors 3 adult children 2 grandchildren) to a tee. The 1st floor family room was perfect for family movie night. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds were comfortable. The cabinets were incredibly stocked. The host...

"AC failure went unresolved overnight; refund confirmed by Vrbo but not yet paid by hostOn June 30th, during a heatwave, the air conditioning in our unit failed and the room reached approximately 88 degrees. The host indicated that a repair technician was on the way, but no one arrived, and we received no further communication for the remainder of the night. This left us without a functioning cooling system in extreme heat with no resolution or updates.Following the stay, Vrbo reviewed the...

"A good location to enjoy Milwaukee's 3rd Ward and many attractions! A close walk to the free trolley known as "The Hop." I realize it wasn't on the listing "list," but I could not believe there was not a coffee maker or Keurig in a...
