"There are some places you stay that you forget as soon as you leave and others you will remember for a long time. This falls into the latter. It's as described rustic and a life photo. There is a mix of decorations that to me were cool and interesting. WiFi was good, small galleon kitchen, didn't use but looked sufficient. The real winner here is being able to sit right on a river deck, ducks and geese everywhere, frogs playing the banjos, beavers swimming by (never seen a beaver in my life...

"Just what I wanted. Up a hillside, amongst the trees, overlooking a favorite landscape. Everything clean and working."

"Jay's cabin was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, super comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and great location on the Cabot Trail. We enjoyed days exploring the trail and evenings on the porch or walking to the ocean on trails on the property - views from the cliff-top were magnificent. Thanks for a great stay, Jay. Maybe we'll get back there one day. "

"This house was centrally located to everything we wanted to do while in this area of Cape Breton. It was quiet and comfortable and we appreciated being able to do laundry. I would recommend it to other travelers."

"The property was lovely and as advertised. The deck and screened in porch were favorite places to relax. Richard the owner was very responsive when we had questions. The location was very private, yet close enough to any needed amenities. There is a trail to the Fairy Hole very near the property. We would happily return! "

"Every one of us loved it here - grown ups, kids, and dog. We had many great adventures in a short time and wished we could have stayed longer. The kids and the dog loved roaming the beach right outside and swimming in such perfectly clear and calm water was wonderful. Well equipped apartment and helpful friendly hosts. Recommended and we hope to be back some day. "
