"I have never been received so warmly at any hotel in my entire life of travels. I wish I could remember the young ladies name who checked us in. She was so helpful and went out of her way to receive us. She literally followed me out to the car to take our luggage in, she stored it until our room was ready and when we returned everything was in our room. "Check-in process easy, and we were sent the required access codes on the afternoon of the start of our stay.
Very clean, plenty of hot water and comfortable bed. Kitchenette has enough equipment for making simple meals.
Sound insulation between the floors could be better, as we could hear footsteps from the flat above, but it did not cause us any inconvenience.
Only a couple of minutes walk away from frequent bus services into the city centre.

"Read the fine print - windows are optional apparently. While the bed was comfortable and we slept well, apparently there are windowless options with this hotel. Room was clean however the tile floor felt "greasy" almost like there was too much cleaning product used. I am so thankful I packed slippers. Staff were friendly enough - good luck driving to drop off our luggage, it took us 40 mins to find a route that was open. Its best to park at the mall / shopping centre across the river and...

"The cottage was delightful! It isn’t a shared space, so the whole place was ours - so nice! I highly recommend this quaint town. It has cute shops and wonderful pubs in easy walking distance. The host was super helpful with anything we needed and the cottage is spotless. The parking was tight, but there are lots nearby if you aren’t comfortable with the curb parking.For future travelers from the arid American West, Europeans don’t use a top sheet and regulate their inner temperatures different...
