"The house is exactly as advertised. It is well stocked and it’s clear the host has put a lot of thought into making the house comfortable for folks. Host was also very quick to respond. Chestertown is lovely and this house is in the perfect location. Will stay here again! "

"As others have noted, the space is very clean, well appointed and conveniently located. I'd like to add that the hosts have done a wonderful job of representing the community in the home. Their art collection is lovely and features local artists. The books placed are all interesting and about the area; even the chocolates were purchased from a locally owned store. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"My husband and I had an amazing stay!!! We chose to experience the stay socializing with the hosts rather than by exclusively keeping to ourselves, which was a unique, fun, and relaxing experience. The hosts are very nice and down to earth people. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly. Stepping into the yard was like stepping through to a private unique and thoughtfully designed oasis. "Very clean and comfortable, perfect for a getaway for a couple or small family. Even though the neighbors are close, the house and dock feel very private and the views are breathtaking. The property manager communicated quickly and the guest guide that was provided was so detailed and helpful. Very tasty restaurants nearby. I would absolutely return. Next time I'd love to try out the boats!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over the July 4th weekend. We spent many hours on the front porch watching the sun rise, the boats pass by, birds soar, including bald eagles nesting nearby! The house is charming and very well equipped. We appreciated the binoculars to watch birds and fireworks. Betterton Beach is a short walk. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend! "

"Our group of 16 friends and family had a wonderful time. The kids, ages 6 to 11, had their own quarters downstairs with plenty to keep them busy. The pool facilities and kayaks/SUP were a lot of fun on the river. We couldn’t have asked for a better layout for both fun and relaxation. Hope we can come back again!"

"My husband and I were there for our anniversary weekend. Hosts were very friendly, had good recommendations, and place was modern and clean! We enjoyed the beach area, sunsets and walks in the neighborhood. We brought our own kayaks and fished... caught lots of catfish!! We brought our bikes for Chesapeake City.We enjoyed the Bohemia Manor Winery nearby. Great sunsets and great memories! Thanks again! "
