"Good home, clean rooms, breakfast was great and so is the location. "

"Parking was adequate. Rooms are big. Beds were decently comfortable. There was not maid service while we were there but you could get anything you needed at the front desk. They brought donuts and orange juice to your room every morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hot tub didn't work but didn't plan to use it. It's a little walk to town but not bad. There is a convenience store right behind and a hardware store next door. I would stay there again."

"This was a great room for the price. Very clean! Shower head was a little wonky but, not terrible. Heard a lot of road noise at night but, I think any motel in that area is going to be right on the road. Very close proximity to Big Trees and Murphys where they have a really cute old Main Street. I would stay here again."

The guy who answered the call stated that since I booked thru EXPEDIA there was absolutely NOTHING he could do about even considering my request. Made me feel like I was "second class" for booking thru EXPEDIA. The ground floor room was what I booked and that was that. When I got there....the room was right adjacent...

"I stayed in room 244, they called it the dungeon. It was super loud next to an exit door and there was utility staff at 6:30am walking around exiting and you can hear everything so loudly. Also, you need to take stairs to get to this room. I have a bad back and had to carry my luggage down sets of stairs. I should have been offered a room where I didn’t have to use physical stairs to carry my luggage or they should have offered bell service to carry it. There were plenty of rooms on the 2nd...

"The room was not clean. There was a dirty duvet on the bed. When we arrived. There were dirty decorative pillows on the bed. There was a crush can from the previous guest under the couch. The TV was poor quality amenities were limited. The breakfast was terrible the only thing saving Grace was you could make a waffle. The Furniture was questionable to sit safely. We understand it's a historic hotel but the service and the quality of furniture doesn't have to be historic."
