Lake House with Spectacular Sunsets & Boat Dock

This spacious 3 bedroom/2.5 bath sits in a quiet cove on the main lake. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs (including Kurig stocked with pods) or throw dinner on the outdoor grill. Enjoy the breathtaking lake views from the large deck or the sectional in the family room. Equipped with a smart TV in the family room as well as the primary bedroom. WI-FI provided with the rental.

Pack and play available in the closet of the Queen bedroom.

House is located steps from recently renovated Brooks Park with new playground equipment and walking path.

Starter paper products are provided with the house (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap). On site laundry is available.

BOAT DOES NOT COME WITH THE RENTAL. Dock space is available for use with the rental.

Plenty of on site parking for up to 4 vehicles.

**Absolutely NO PARTIES and NO MORE than 10 guests on the property (inside or out) without prior approval from ownership. No smoking & no pets. There will be a $500 charge for violation of any house rules.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

Much needed vacation

Best sunset views! We had a fabulous time making memories here. The location is perfect… there are a few docks and a ramp for easy access to the lake. We brought inflatable paddleboards and a kayak that we were able to use every day. There is a cute playground for younger kids steps away with a nice walking trail. Quite a few great restaurants just a short drive away. Brett is very responsive. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful home with a view

This is a beautiful home with a great location. Inches from the lake and a beautiful view! The house is laid out well to enjoy family time. The entire back of the house is windows so you can enjoy the views. I highly recommend. We will defiantly be back!

Brought the boat!

Great property, Brett very responsive. The house has all you need to enjoy time on the lake. Close to the Shoe as well, we make a quick run to a concert at Ohio State, 35 minute drive. Multiple restaurants on the water, had fun boating to listen to live music and slow drives back watching the sunset.

40 plus years of friendship Gathering

Seven of us 60 something ladies gathered at this beautiful home to just sit , snack and catch up on our lives and laugh. What a perfect place for this! The pictures do not do it justice. The weather was not the best and a bit rainy, and we still enjoyed the view of the lake. There was ample seating and plenty of room for all of us. Brett replied immediately to a minor question. Highly recommend especially for a large group looking for a peaceful getaway. The bunk beds were way more comfortable than was expected.

Comfortable stay

This property is fantastic for a relaxing weekend stay. It's located in a peaceful area with access to the lake. The host is very nice and flexible and responsive. The house is great with all necessary equipments. Definitely recommend having a stay here!

Family getaway

The place had a beautiful view of the lake. There was no shampoo or soap in the bathrooms. The windows really need cleaned. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed sitting around the fire on the patio enjoying the view of the lake. It was a nice location.

Perfect Property

What a perfect property with the sunsets being the highlight. There was something for everyone. My Dad loved the firepit (and Buckeye Lake Brewery). My mom enjoyed the deck and lake view. My sister was able to connect with work using the reliable wifi. My brother in law found his "spot" in the living room and enjoyed relaxing with movies on the big TV each evening. My husband loved the Archery Range that was close by at the Fish Hatchery. My teens walked the path at Brooks Park (just steps away!) numerous times. My adult daughter and I adored the jetted tub. And we all loved the large kitchen with lots of counter space. The owner responded immediately to questions sent before booking and about a week before arriving and to a concern the first evening. I will be suggesting to my family that we book this property again!

Clean house, fantastic view

The house was just as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable, and the view was fantastic. Our group got lots of use out of the patio and grill. Lots of good food and coffee nearby as well. Would definitely rent this house again.
