• Please note that guests do not have access to the mailbox. If you plan to ship items to the property, only UPS and FedEx deliveries are allowed.

• PLEASE SETTLE YOUR PET FEES BEFORE ARRIVAL. We do not allow unregistered pets and unpaid pet fees into the property

• For all non-Airbnb reservations, we require guests to provide photos of their IDs along with a selfie holding the ID for registration purposes. This process ensures the safety and security of our guests and property. Please rest assured that all submitted information will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for verification purposes.

• Upon arrival park in the designated parking space in the empty driveway, 1 parking spot on the side of the house.

* Please note that the thermostat at the property is currently not operational. However, to ensure your comfort, space heaters have been placed in the common areas for your use.

• You can street park at Brookdale Ave. Please follow all the street signs you will see just in case.

• Guests under the age of 25 are restricted from booking an entire home if they live locally and don’t have at least 3 positive reviews.

• Quiet hours from 10 pm - 8 am

• NO VAPING/SMOKING allowed whatsoever inside the property. This is strictly enforced. If cigarette butts are found inside, there will be a $250 charge for lingering interior smoke smell.

• Items Left Behind: Shipping starts at $25. For bigger items, costs may vary

• Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7

• GENERAL LIFE RULE: If you see it, read it; if you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back.

This property is decent but needs a general cleaning. The garbage under the sofa was nasty. 1. The yard/front steps had piles of wet leaves that stayed the whole week, even though they promised the landscapers would come. 2. The heat didn’t work and we were not warned and they had space heaters - not fair in November. The window air conditioners were not removed for winter so they allowed cold air to come in. 3. The shower curtain had a nasty black ring on the magnet attachment which we didn’t see originally but we had to get Clorox to try and clean it because by then we were tired of all the hassle. 4.This place would be soo nice but it’s managed by a remote company and not an actual person, so it’s not efficiently managed. 5. They gave a 20% refund, which was nothing if you ask me considering we stayed a week. Do the math. I have pictures to support everything I say.

We had a blast staying at this property. The attention to detail in the amenities provided was amazing. We travelled with our infant and there was a high chair, pack & play, and baby bath available for us to use, this was perfect so we didn’t have to worry about traveling with these items. Loved the toiletry boxes provided for shampoo, conditioner, laundry pods, dish soap, & more! The location was perfect! Nice short walk to the delicious Walnut Beach Creamery, Walnut Beach Coffee House, and the sandy Walnut Beach! Had requested an early check in, and when we arrived the code provided was not set up for the early check in time. Messaged & called the property manager and quickly had the issue resolved!

The property is what we were looking for, for the long weekend we stayed their. The only draw back was the upstairs water preasure. It made showering quite difficult. Otherwise its a great property.

We loved our little cottage, it was a perfect size for us. The backyard was a great space for our grandkids to run around in, which was fun for them as well. It was close to family so we could easily have them over for the day. The owners were very kid an responded quickly to our questions also. We also met some of the neighbors who were a lot of fun too!

I haven’t had a vacation in a decade (single mom) and can’t say more about the wonderful experience we had at this rental. Thank you so much for the amazing service, wonderful linens, all the beach items you could need (right across from the beach) and more. Thank you for a wonderful time. We now plan to come back repeatedly. Thank you!

The house is a short walk from a calm, clean, uncrowded beach, with a small playground in between! That alone made it a great place for us. The house itself is small but very comfortable, and communications were always easy. We’d be happy to stay again!

I stayed for 4 nights while traveling for business. The location was ideal and I enjoyed being able to walk the beach boardwalk every night. The house had everything I needed, was clean and the host was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Steps to the beach was very nice, beds were comfortable and clean. Issue with the listing, the pet fee was unclear at the start. The host originally asked for an additional pet fee from the booking cost.

I loved this house! It was clean, spacious, had a nice deck with a fenced in yard which was great for my dog. It’s a very quiet neighborhood even though the houses are close together. The beach is literally across the street. There are some smaller beaches right there or you can walk 10-15 min up to Walnut Beach. They provide you beach chairs, towels, etc. It’s about a 10 minute walk to a nice restaurant, coffee shop, and lobster roll place! It’s a really cute little neighborhood and the beaches are very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed as an impromptu visit to CT. The house was easy to find and in an amazing location next to the beach. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood which was perfect for a family to stay. Had some questions when we arrived and host was extremely quick to respond. Very clean and has beach items so you don’t have to bring your own. Would totally stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at this Cody house on the Connecticut beach A great place to walk with our dogs and hit the Bees Knees Coffee Shop. The nearby historic towns in Fairfield and New Haven Counties were fun to explore and the Yale campus in New Haven was radiant in the Fall sunshine.

We had a wonderful time! This was by far the best VRBO experience I've ever had. They thought of just about everything and then some. It was within walking distance to the main street and Walnut Beach and close enough to drive into New Haven to see family and then back to get a break from the city. Very clean and ready for fun. The bedrooms are beautiful. They are upstairs so if you have mobility issues, be prepared for that. The parking is nice to have but a very tight squeeze. Other than those minor things, I could not recommend this property more. I hope to come back in the future. Oh, and I didn't have my dog with me, but I loved seeing all the things that were set up for a pet... Enclosed backyard, doggie bed, couch cover, etc... Very cool! Thank you for creating such a special place!
