"Took my boyfriend, now fiancée here for our 3 year anniversary since he had never been to NYC. Super close to Times Square and Broadway shows. Staff was all amazing everything we came in and left. Loved the breakfast and snack area, especially the fancy coffe machine! Rooms are somewhat plain but clean and you dont spend much time in it anyhow. Would stay again!"

"This is not my first or even second stay at Sherman’s , and my experience has always been great. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, rooms are well appointed and clean, it feels warm and welcoming. It is wonderful to have this kind of dependable hospitality right in the center of Manhattan. Great job!"

"My wife and 2 kids (13 & 11) had a great trip. It was a heat wave in New York while we were there. The air conditioning was on and there was a lovely scent when welcoming you back to a very clean and beautiful hotel. Location was 1/2 a block from Time Square which made everything very convenient. "Overall nice hotel however they surprise you with a $100 resort fee, also they hold a $150 security fee on your card. I was aware of the second fee, I may have missed the first one. The breakfast was decent with a variety of items to choose from, the baked beans was unusual to me for breakfast 😂there isn’t a restaurant but a combo bar & grill. There is another hotel of the same name in the immediate area but this is the nicer one so pay attention when making your reservation. Instead of taking...

"When I travel to NYC, my top Hotel pick is always the Iroquois. Smaller Boutique style hotel in the heart of the city. And the staff is marvelous (including the Bartenders). I’d recommend anyway traveling to the Apple 🍎to give it a try."

"The Civilian is an amazing place to stay. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, I attended a Broadway show and it was a 2 minute walk to the theater. The staff was amazing. The room and hotel was spotless. Housekeeping came at 4:30PM, one day. I’d prefer to have them come earlier. Also, the breakfast bar was pretty limited. Other than that, everything else was EXCELLENT! If definitely stay again and recommend it to others."

"very nice hotel at the heart of the Theater district, walking distance to subway lines and Times Square, The staff was wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. My room was modern and up to date with bedding, plumbing and great AC. My room had a refrigerator which was clean and convenient. I only wish there was a microwave as well. There was breakfast available, but I did not partake. Definitely recommend this property."
