"The hotel is historic and updates made are just enough to make for an ok stay. If a family needs a full kitchen, washer/dryer, then this may be the hotel for you. The room was clean, but if you reserve a room with a king bed and queen pull out bed, beware you may not get a good night's sleep in the pull out bed. The bed was very plastic material like and hard. "This property was everything we hoped it would be. The fitness center was an added bonus, especially because the breakfast was so delicious and sumptuous! I don't think we have ever seen such a spread for breakfast at any other facility. "I was staying on the first floor. People were smoking in the room above me. This is a nonsmoking hotel. I alerted the front desk three times and nothing was done. We had to check out and get another hotel at 11:45pm with two children. I was told to “take it up with Expedia” when I refused to pay for the night. I am not one to write reviews but this was such a terrible experience. Don’t stay here."

"The manager of this hotel went above and beyond to help me and my children settle in after having to check out of the worst hotel next door due to people smoking in their rooms. This manger was kind and compassionate even at midnight. Top notch customer service and the room was perfect."

"Front Desk: Outstanding rating for the front desk staff. Giselle and Merv were professional, personable, and helpful.
Cleanliness & Housekeeping:
The bed covering and sheets looked used. There was a stain on the bed covering which I was able to remove with a washcloth. I asked for a replacement but never received it.
There was no toilet paper.
The cleaning staff did not replace used towels.
Cleanliness is our top priority so I probably wouldn't stay here again."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Springfield suites. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly, the pool was great for the kids after a long day at Busch gardens, and the breakfast was included and it was fantastic. Everything was hot and fresh, the staff at breakfast was very attentive and helpful if we needed anything. Something different every morning and the kids were able to get a big breakfast in before we headed out. Every evening there was free ice cream in the lobby which the kids loved....
