"The property was seeped in history. We stayed in room 3, the Kings room. A lovely compact room, spotless with lovely little touches such as a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a fresh little bottle of milk, a comfy bed, feather duvet, black out curtains, great shower and toiletries. "Nice place with very friendly staff. Only stayed the one night as a stopover. Room was comfortable and clean, maybe could do with a refresh but totally fine for a short stay. A little outside Barnard centre, about 20 minute easy walk Had an evening meal in the bar which was really nice and great value for money.
