"The house sits behind a small Liquor store so it's hard to see from the street as it's set back but the view of the lake is beautiful. Appliances could use an update and there are some repairs needed like the tub/shower and a loose board on the porch. The bedrooms were simple and beautiful with views of the water."

"Charming yurt not far from a grocery store but totally secluded. Beautiful private hiking trails right outside the yurt door. Convenient propane heater, solar powered overhead light, bottled water, propane cooktop and a very comfortable futon. The outhouse was close by and very well kept. As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable due to the heavy duty door and deadbolt lock. I had a question and the owners quickly responded. I loved this place! "The best thing about this place is it is pet friendly.Maybe this place is new to renters but the lack of kitchen supplies forced us to buy them while there. I mean things you would expect; drinking glasses, mixing bowl, measuring cups. Nothing. Also the water in this rental is not fit for your pets. If you rent it be sure to bring a lot of bottled water. Another issue is the heat. They use a natural gas burning unit and it is not vented out of the house. We had to purchase a carbon monoxide...

"In the summer, this place is probably great as the other reviews have indicated. However, I would strongly recommend not staying here in the winter. The temperature fluctuated too much to be comfortable, the lighting is glaring blue fluorescent overheads with no bedroom lamps in either room. The bed was made with a top sheet and a summer quilt with no extra blankets in the building. When we asked for more blankets, the owner brought one old throw blanket for our family of five. Every possible utensil, foil, pans, coffee, jug of distilled water, yadda yadda yadda, this place is very nice and well equipped.
The communication with the property owner Judi was very comforting. Judi was always a quick text away from any questions you may have which made are stay even more relaxing.
