"Over all the description of the property was spot on. The cleaning staff needs some pointers. Perhaps they can take some time and clean the coffee pot, empty the lint from the dryer, and cob webs along the floor by the registers. We didnt use the hot tub or the grill, we didnt want to clean them to use them. There was a faint odor of propane near the large tank. Other wise we had a blast.Barnardsville really got demolished by those storms. I had no idea it was that widespread. "

"Great little hideaway well situated between Little Switzerland and Spruce Pine, about an hour from Boone and Blowing Rock! Can walk right out to some wonderful hiking! Neat little cabin!"

"Driveway is very sloped. My van’s wheels skied. It would be a little scary for a new driver. Apple map helped me to drive in/out from the property. Overall, great place to stay . "

We loved having the option of cooking our own meals sometimes, and we just loved the cozy, cabin-style feel with the bears and quilts. We also really appreciated the private fire pit and the extra room for our dog. The owner and his pups were incredibly welcoming."
