The best part of our stay was the staff—every person we met was kind, helpful, and accommodating. They allowed us to store luggage before check-in and after check-out, which we appreciated due to our early arrival and late departure. The location is excellent, right across from the beach. The hotel provides beach towels and chairs (you carry the chairs yourself) and offers free bike rentals. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant and dined there twice.
We stayed on the top floor with a partial ocean view—beautiful, though it also overlooked AC units. Our king bed was comfortable in size but sagged in the middle, and the room only had one bedside table, making it feel oddly arranged. The AC worked great, but overall the room needed better layout and maintenance.
The bathroom was tiny, with an oversized toilet, a small sink that drained slowly, and difficult-to-regulate water temperature. We were missing a “Do Not Disturb” sign, and housekeeping skipped hand towels, washcloths, and bar soap.
The hotel has vintage charm but needs refreshing—stained stair carpets, worn lobby furniture, and dated finishes. The elevator is small (fits 3 people) but fast. Hallways were clean and smelled fresh. A nice touch: high-quality Urban Jungle toiletries in pump bottles.
Excellent service and location, but the room needs updates before we’d stay again.
