Upon booking there is no mention of a $250 fee for damages so wasn’t expecting to pay that much the day of check in, however upon checkout that amount was fully refunded but it’s something guests SHOULD be made aware of. The steam room had mold & gunk as if it hasn’t been cleaned, the sauna rooms need to manually be turned on which is an inconvenience cause for a 5 star hotel those amenities should be READY for use for guests. The jacuzzi area had mold and gunk around the tiles which is disgusting if you’re walking around barefoot in the pool area. Upon arrival Expedia informed me I get a complimentary bottle of wine and I told front desk (I would assume if they’re setting up the room they would set it up with the complimentary wine as well but that was not the case) we drank the wine on top of the mini bar logically thinking that was our complimentary bottle of wine however it was NOT. We went to front desk to clarify and they said since we already drank it they will note it as the complimentary bottle of wine-upon checkout we were informed there were NO room charges however a DAY later we were charged for that wine. I’ve had to call THREE times to inform them I shouldn’t have been charged and they said they would refund it however a week has gone by and nothing has changed. Definitely will not be staying here ever again, seems like staff doesn’t communicate with each other and cleanliness is non existent is shared communal areas.
