So many issues

Massive construction was going on the entire time we were there and we weren’t notified until arrival. We did not have hot water for 36h, there were leaks from the ceiling and the bathroom showers causing a horrible mildew smell that gave our group headaches, multiple pieces of furniture broke during our stay. Host has refused to offer us a refund for these issues and has now completely stopped responding to try to resolve the issues we faced. Never book with Virtual Homes!

great size and style, but inconsistent quality

We booked this VRBO for the size and design, both delivered and we appreciated that every bedroom had their own bathroom! We loved the walkability and centrality of the location. Check in is a little strange – we were not sent the instructions via email like the listing said but had to ask the front desk a few times. When I asked for early check in just to leave our bags in the room, they shared that'd be okay if the maid service was done earlier via messages. However, the front desk requested I pay 500 pesos to check in earlier (which was never disclosed in the listing or via messages). The quality of the materials in the listing often felt lacking despite the great appearance. One of us stretched out on a chair and the back broke. We let the front desk know and they said this is a frequent and known issue. We also came back from a night out and a piece of the kitchen wall fell down revealing the pipes were covered in MDF board. The rainfall showers in each room also seem to spray everywhere and weren't as relaxing. The beds were definitely super comfortable and we appreciated the separate wardrobes though! Would be ideal to have better vanity lighting in the bathrooms for folks getting ready though. I'd still recommend this listing for large groups since we still had a great time.

Understanding and easy to reach

We had a good time and stayed a few nights. The check in process was not easy and I had to go and seek out the door codes. The manager was understanding and easy to reach during the entire stay. Wish there were cleaning supplies like trash bags, paper towels, etc so we could keep it clean during the stay.
