"The cottage has real character, being over 200 years old. It has lovely countryside views from the lounge and bedrooms and is spacious. The cooking equipment was good and the dining room was lovely and cosy. We were quite near to Lincoln City and was an hours drive from the seaside town of Skegness, where we spent an enjoyable afternoon. The host was very helpful. Would stay here again."

"Very nice property. Quiet road. We had two cars and were provided with permits for our stay, invaluable as parking in Lincoln is limited. A bit of an uphill walk to the castle and cathedral, but worth it for the peaceful location of the house.A beautiful common behind the house with grazing horses. "We stayed for one night as we had tickets to see Texas at Lincoln Castle and wished we had booked for longer. It's perfect for 2 people or 2 couples, the decor is lovely, it's spotlessly clean and well placed for local pubs etc, with a taxi to the castle just 8. The beds were very comfy and our host left lots of bread etc as the co-op next door is closed at the moment. A really relaxing place to stay just four miles from the city."

Wanted to make an hot drink on arrival but only one cup so had to go and buy some, there was no cloth to dry cups up after washing. Didn't use the dishes as they were dusty.
