"We arrived at the property very late at night, but the carport light was on! Huge help! The address post across the driveway was a big help also!The house was very clean! All the bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. were squared away in perfect order!I think the greatest help was the mosquito spray in the "care package".I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a tranquil, quiet place to spend some time.With all the beauty the North Carolina coast has to offer at hand."

"Quiet, clean, comfortable cottage in the country. Private dock with boat ramp short drive away. Great place for fishing and crabbing. We really enjoyed our stay! "

"Easily one of the best vacations ever spent with my family! There was always something to do in this little oasis. Fishing, boating, even dolphin paid us a couple visits. The 5th wheel was really nice too, slept like a baby. I think we turned the tv on twice. Tammy and John are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.. two genuinely awesome host! "The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. "
