"We had a wonderful stay at the Anglers Cove property. The house was clean and we had plenty of room to spread out. The host communicated well and was very responsive. Access to the lake was great, we enjoyed listening to and watching the birds, in particular the two eagles in the area. The location was also ideal for excursions to the Porcupine Mountains and various other local hikes. Be sure to read all the house policies. "We had a wonderful time at the UP Happy Place! What a beautiful home, complete with everything you would need, even a Keurig! Comfortable beds, internet and smart TV access, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, on and on I could go! Chad and Christel are excellent hosts and always ready to answer questions. Being right on Lake Superior was the icing on the cake. Easy check in and check out, it was just a beautiful stay from start to finish and we are looking forward to another vacation here when the fall...

"A super cozy cabin conveniently located to see attractions near Powderhorn Mtn, Little Girl’s Point, and Presque Isle Park. Close to Gogoebic Lake and Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds. The owner is very responsive to your needs and rate communication excellent. We loved that we could bring our pooch as well! "

"This was a great place to stay as we hiked the traphills on the north country trail! The large entry room was a great location for all of our hiking gear. Having the bar next door for a quick drink or food helped after a long hiking day too. "

"We only used the upsatirs and really liked the house. Very comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Was absolutely in love with the woodsy backyard to a mostly pine forest. Last night we stayed we had a spike buck come with in 30 yrds of us at the campfire. Super cool to finish off our wonderful stay. Sorry though, didnt take any pictures of the back yard "

"This is a cute and comfortable place to stay and relax. We visited during the summer which was lovely. Quiet and good views. This would be a prime location during ski season!"

Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups "
