"We had my husband’s 50th surprised birthday party there! We had no idea that there was a home for renting in Lakeside. When we go out fishing or just for sport, we have mostly used the Steal Creek Park boat ramp. The only road into and out of the park, is the same road that this beautiful property is located. We had a great and wonderful time!"

"Great family get together! Plenty of sleeping spaces with everyone having their own bathroom! Kids hunted for snails. Plenty of seating to visit , inside & outside. Nice campfire at night. Felt like you were secluded but close to a store if needed. Easy check in & out! Would book again!! "

"Comfortable, Homely and Spacious, well decorated in a lake house theme, good sheets and towels.Property is Maintained ExcellentAlmost no need to bring much. Well kept and clean. Inside and outside, large wrap around porch on lakeside comfortable for large gatherings. Lots of beautiful plants and landscaping all well kept. So much more, my family enjoyed our stay and will do it again soon. Best lake house choice in Whitney with view and actual water access."

"What an incredible weekend! The ranch house….beautiful, cozy and well-appointed! The animals….what a treat!!! Baby goats, baby chicks, mini horses, pot belly pigs, cows and a wild pig who thinks he is a goat!! Just WONDERFUL!! The amenities…camp fire, corn hole, volleyball, pickleball, swimming in the creek…..SO MUCH FUN! If you have a big group of family members right I don’t do it yet or corporate but colleagues,this place cannot be beat!! Don’t miss out! It is truly a piece of Heaven!! "

"We visited Glen Rose this past weekend with our infant, 6 year old, and 14 year old. My parents popped in also (in their 70s) and we all LOVED the house. The location is so close to town, Big Rocks, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Fossil Rim, and cute downtown restaurants. We loved the patio on the water and the ability to fish. We look forward to coming again in the fall. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. "

"This was perfect for our family to be able to get together and hang out. We had such a great time. The view is amazing and we just loved our time there. The hosts were great to work with and really accessible. We had the smoothest check in and check out process I have ever experienced. The only slight feedback I would give is that in some places the floor was a little weird, but really it was the best place to stay ever! Easy 5 stars!!!"
