This home is located very close to the water's edge, with 125 feet of child safe, gently sloped, sandy beach and crystal clear water, a 50-foot private dock. The superb view from the master bedroom, kitchen and living room is one of the most exquisite combinations of lake and mountain scenery. Nicely furnished. No Pets and No Smoking please.

Amenities: Fireplace, Phone, AC in living room, Cable TV, VCR, Stereo, CD Player, DVD Player, Computer, High speed Internet, Full Kitchen, Cookware and All Utensils furnished including a full complement of Dishes and Glassware, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Washer & Dryer, Gas Grill (BBQ), 12 foot aluminum boat,

Blankets, Pillows, Bed and Bath Linens are provided; Please bring your own Beach Towels, 2 queen beds (one in master bedroom, one in second bedroom ) twin and full size bunk beds in third bedroom, and a full size bed(in the living room).

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!-Perfect location to the best restaurants and places to explore-Extremely well stocked-Amazing waterfront with beach access, dock, boat, and beautiful nature-Clean clean clean!-All TVs, appliances, and electronics are modern and work great-The beds are incredibly comfortable and we slept so well! The kids loved the sturdy, easy climb, bunk beds-Two full baths with excellent water pressure and hot water-Spotless, modern Weber grill was a joy to use-Plenty of yard space for kids to run around along with excellent privacy-Oversized garage for parking anythingMost importanly, Harry and Gertrude are lovely, wonderful people who truly care about all the details. Couldn't recommend this place enough simply because of how attentive to detail they are, and how much they care about your family having a great time. RENT FROM THEM!

Beautiful waterfront

The house and grounds were spotless and the waterfront views/access were amazing! Excellent location on the lake and in town. The use of the little aluminum boat was a wonderful bonus that we enjoyed tremendously.

Very pleasurable experience. In a quiet private area very peacefull. lake views are amazing. Very kid friendly. The kids and grandchildren absolutely loved it. Pictures does not do this rental justice. Will definitely return in the future

Immaculate Lakehouse with Spectacular Mountain and Lake Winni View

Lovely home and an even more wonderful view. Well appointed - everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Very nice, shallow sandy beach, and great dock.

Great Location and Property!

Our group included 6 adults and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and areas indoors and out were large enough for us to gather together when we wanted. The dock was plenty large for our 21 ft boat rental and a great location on the lake to tube without too much lake traffic. Our whole group loved our time on the Big Lake and at this great property!!

Beautiful Property

We were celebrating our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. This was the PERFECT place to stay. Upon arrival, met the home owners. Wonderful owners, showed us around inside and outside of the house. The house was extremely clean, and exactly what we expected from the photos. I will never forget the scenery and it was spectacular. We wanted a quiet place to stay at and this was a stress reliever for both of us, especially the line of work we do. We highly recommend this place to stay at, and we plan to stay here again in the near future. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, and celebrating our Wedding Anniversary ❤. Very relaxing stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Amazing views of the lake. Beautiful sandy shoreline - perfect for young kids. Very quiet and serene setting. The house is well stocked. We appreciated the kayaks and the boat. We had planned to do many activities in the area but ended up spending most of our time on the property...swimming, fishing, kayaking etc. The hosts were wonderful and very attentive.

Best Rental and Vacation!!

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful lake home with our three kids (5,3, almost 1) and parents. I have so many wonderful things to say about the home, location and owners that I don’t know where to start! The home is beautiful and perfect in so many ways. First of all, it is clean and well stocked. And when I say clean, I mean spotless!! The set up for sleeping is great—for kids and for adults. The air conditioning makes it very comfortable and creates great white noise for the little ones to sleep. The beds are amazing, so comfortable—and we are a picky bunch!! The house is private and secluded, offers more than enough parking, and is really the perfect lake house. The owners are great. They were helpful and insightful about their home and the area. Harry and Gertrude were very friendly and made the whole experience easy. The beach—it is perfect. Shallow and warm for the little ones. The water is clean and there aren’t a million boats zooming around creating waves. It is on a quiet part of the lake that is really peaceful and lovely. The boats that were available to use (kayaks and motorboat) were amazing and gave us a great opportunity to see the lake. Lastly, we fell in love with Meredith. There was something for everyone from the natural science center, to the train rides and the wonderful restaurants. This is a home that you will revisit again and again—trust me!! Thanks for a great vaca Harry and Gertrude!

Tranquil, Family-Friendly Property

I stayed at this property with my husband and two boys, 6 and 9. It was a big hit for the entire family. This location had the perfect balance of tranquility in nature and fun activities nearby. Some of the highlights for us were Squam Lakes Nature Science Center, Fun Spot, a WWII museum called The Wright Museum, Weir Beach, Castle In the Clouds, Lost River Gorge, mini golf, a train ride, and swimming, boating, and fishing at the property. We drove up to Story Land one day, which was perfect for our children’s ages. Story Land and Lost River were a little over an hour away but well worth the trip. Everything else was close by. The house itself consisted of three bedrooms plus a bed area in the corner of the large family room, which also included an office area that my husband used to work remotely. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics a person would expect, and there were three bathrooms, all with TVs. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. The owners met us there and showed us how everything works. They were very accommodating and flexible, and it was clear they take a lot of pride in their property. They allowed us to use their motor boat and kayaks (a tandem and a single). The property also includes a large yard and wooded lot, deck with plentiful seating, dock, and natural sand beach that the kids absolutely loved. There is also a small public beach walking distance from the house, though there is also plenty of parking if a person prefers to drive. All in all, I would absolutely recommend the area and this property in particular.
