"Magnificent location. Staff were very helpful and very professional. There was some ambiguity about our room booking. I thought we were getting a room with a balcony, but we only got a room with a window. Management said the class of room I booked included either a window or Juliet balcony or balcony, and that this info was made clear to Expedia before Expedia listed then on their site. I don't recall seeing anything to this effect on Expedia. So something went admiss there..."

"A great hotel with views of Vesuvius. Staff were first class. Good sized room. All spotlessly clean. Huge grounds in which to walk or relax. Pool with loungers & towels supplied plus the poolside bar. On site parking with buggies available to bring luggage to or from your car. Also courtesy bus from the nearest station (free) or the airport (chargeable). Good breakfast buffet. We didn't try the restaurant. Good location for visiting Pompeii or Herculaneum. "

"It is a fabulous hotel and complex. We stayed 2 nights which was just perfect to chill and relax. A good base to visit Pompei ruins and walkable from the hotel. The pool was fabulous and quiet "

"At the very last minute we had to find accomodations for one night in Salerno. We were lucky enough to find Home 47 and the wonderful host. Gracious and welcoming. We were able to stash our bags for several hours after we had checked out. the best part however was the fantastic homemade breakfast! Thank you!"
