Located on the harbour of Menaggio, with access to everything at your fingertips, this sun-soaked 2-bedroom apartment offers a serene escape for 5. The second-floor apartment is brand-new with lake-view rooms and a fully-fitted kitchen for a wholesome stay. Inside the comfortable and spacious living room, there are modern amenities like and a Smart TV and sofa seating, all rounded up in a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The apartment\'s kitchen has all the amenities needed for a relaxing self-catering stay, including a dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee maker, induction hob and toaster.

Ironing facilities and a washing machine are available too.

Located just a few minutes from the magnificent lakefront, guests here can take their time and holiday at their own pace. The apartment makes it easy for visitors to dip in and out of Central Lake thanks to its convenient location, just a 3-minute walk away from the ferry terminal with ferries to the golden-triangle towns of Varenna and Bellagio. The prestigious Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club is 9 minutes by drive. For lovers of nature, the hiking trail to La Crocetta observation deck with breathtaking panoramas of Lake Como is close by.

The Menaggio Centre itself provides a charming starting point from which to explore Lake Como\'s attractions. The resort is well-equipped for self-catering stays, with cafe-lined piazzas mingling with restaurants, boutique gift shops, and supermarkets, all located just a stone’s throw from the apartment’s well-connected location. The resort town also provides a variety of daytime activities, such as kayaking and power boating.

The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa, approximately an 80-minute from this holiday apartment in Menaggio.

Too hot/too noisy

I will admit that i knew this property had no air conditioning. But, booking for the middle of September, I thought that we would be comfortable at night with open windows. HOWEVER, the street noise is very loud and goes all night!! You cannot sleep with the windows open. Save yourself some misery and restless sleep. The apartment is very cute and in a good location and this problem could be easily resolved for the future by adding some air conditioning!

The property is well located, by the water, steps from the town square, a 5 minute walk to the port where you can take a ferry to all the major towns on the lake. The property itself is awful especially considering we paid $2,250 for 5 nights. 1)No wifi/internet. This is unacceptable. What we paid for our stay would have covered years of internet. 2)The TV turned on but could not access any channels. 3)The apartment smelled of sewage. Had to keep windows open due to the smell. 4) No air conditioning. It was very hot inside so had to open windows. We stayed there the 1st week of September. 5) The noise at night was unbelievable. Because we had to keep windows open, we were unable to sleep from the noise. Cars, trucks, motorcycles roaring by all night. At 2 or 3 am every night, an ambulance would turn on its siren. We could hear every conversation of the people walking by. This continued until 2 am every morning. Ducks also quacked all night. 6) Apartment is furnished with old, worn out, decrepit 1950's furniture. Just awful and so uncomfortable. In my opinion, the management company does not care if its guests enjoy a comfortable stay. It simply tries to maximize profits. Due to the incredibly high demand for Lake Como, it does not care about repeat clients. The office staff provided ZERO advice, tips, recommendations. Not sure what they do all day. I doubt anyone from management has stayed overnight in this apartment. They should! Ruined our holiday in Lake Como!
