"Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden exceeded our expectations. The rooms -- with all having an amazing view -- provides a very efficient use of space. The breakfast buffet is outstanding -- offering an array of delicious items. And the service staff was top notch. And you can't find a better location to the popular attractions. "The rooms were clean. Staff was helpful. Location was nicely located right next to the Hauptbahnhof & Bus station. The hotel gave out free transit passes to use city buses, which was great for my family. We could bus to the different sites very easily. I would definitely stay there again. Oh, and the restaurant was on the top floor, which was very nice. Great views!"

"The Hotel Scwabenwirt was absolutely lovely! I will definitely stay there again, the next time I visit. The Hotel looked modernized from the outside, and lobby. The insides were a little old-school, but that is part of it's charm. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful, and the people at the restaurant were fantastic. "Schone kamers, vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt en dinerbuffet, fantastische sauna's en stoombad én ook nog een binnen en buiten zwembad. Iedere dag schone handdoeken en eigen badjas en slippers op de kamer. Kortom, ik kan alleen maar positief zijn over dit hotel. Enige opbouwende kritiek; de bedden zijn iets te hard maar dat is persoonlijk."
