"We stayed for a week during spring time, dogwoods bloomed and so was rhododendron and azelias, iy was a piece of heaven. It was nice and comfortable for the two of us. Old time charm and updated fitures that are a necessity. Neighborhood is super quite, which was important after a day of work. Allison was very helpful, always promptly answered any questionsthat we had. Snack bar items and everything that you might need for tea or coffee was also a nice bonus. "

"It was more rustic than I had anticipated. The bathroom was outside of the cottage. The shower and faucet pit out only a trickle. I doubt if this place passes code. There were extension cords everywhere. The plumbing pipes were flexible hoses. The electricity comes from.an extension cord from the house next door."

"The guys I work with booked this house to get out of the normal hotel stay. The house has two bedrooms and a pullout couch April to accommodate all of our people. The bathroom is a jack and Jill and very convenient for getting up in the middle of the night. The train was loud at night, but I grew up in Indiana home of the train tracks. I’m used to it. The refrigerator door does open loudly so if you’re trying to be quiet at night, it’s a dead giveaway when someone’s in the fridge that everything...

"Michael was an excellent host. Property was clean and equipped as promised. Complete with Keurig and K-cups! Very quiet community, close to the places that we needed to go. High Bridge Trail is nearby, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmville. Nice selection of local houses of worship in the area. Would definitely recommend"

"There was a mix-up with our reservation, but it was immediately taken care of at our arrival. The hosts were amazing, and we had a wonderful weekend! I will definitely rent from them again the next time we are in Farmville."

"Very quick and easy in and out process. Everything we needed we had. "

"Myself and 3 other women stayed here for a wedding up the road at Waverly Estate.The house was perfect for our overnight need. One thing was I didn’t check to see if there was an iron, so bring a steamer if you need something like that. Would recommend it for a simple over night need for family event. There is also a larger house on the property that other wedding guests were staying in. "

"Clean, comfortable place for 2-4 people. 4 might be pushing it with one bath. Ate at The Brew House and Mitchell’s and both were quite good."
