"Fabulous time in Medford! Mikkie, our host, is an amazing human. She steered us in the right direction for lovely walks, yummy food & drinks. Restaurants & cute shops walkable with easy access to public transportation in to Boston. Her back garden is an oasis - we enjoyed morning coffee & evening cocktails! "Mo was great and very responsive, and overall we had a really great time visiting. A few things that were a little disappointing were that the dishwasher was not functioning properly during our stay, there were no dish towels or oven mitts available for our use while cooking, and there were no washcloths provided in the bathroom. There was also an exposed strip of nails in the entrance to one of the bedrooms that each of us caught our feet on at least once while entering the room. All of the...

Medford Hillside

"We had a pleasant day in this unit. We liked the coffee choices (makers and ingredients). Very well equipped kitchen with thoughtfully chosen items -- good stuff and not just a collection of yard sale junk. Great linens, comfortable bed. Owner was easy to reach and communicated effectively, and remedied the few minor issues that came up during our stay. Walkable neighborhood with a few good local food choices. Basement laundry was a bit off-putting and the stairway down was tricky at best....

"This place fit our needs but we had a couple of hiccups which I have shared with the owner. When we arrived, 3 of the bedroom doors were locked by a keypad. It was never explained why, but the owner did remind me when I emailed for the door codes that we were only supposed to use 6 beds for the 6 guests in our group. House was short on hand towels and had only 4 coffee mugs, but there were a bunch of k cups for the coffee maker. Drinking glasses were few, too. One of the bedrooms is in the...

"This place was a delight! It was super clean and comfy. All of the rooms were spacious: we could have staged a square dance in the living room! There is a countertop fancy toaster oven in the kitchen to take the place of a larger appliance. About a 12-15 minute walk to Tufts. And, the neighborhood is full of bakeries and coffee shops, and ice cream too! Marcela checked in daily, AND let me drop my bags early which was helpful. It felt like home."

"We were a party of two, got a studio, check in was smooth, and location was within walking distance to what we wanted to tour and restaurants. Apartment was modern and comfortable, and especially liked that there is a washer/dryer in the apartment. If you bring a car it should be noted that the parking garage is not in the same complex.
