Was there for just one night, but service, location and breakfast were great! Would stay here again

I booked this hotel expecting basic amenities, especially a hot shower and a comfortable night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there was no hot water during my stay, making it impossible to shower. This completely defeated one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I informed the front desk, but the issue was not resolved in a timely manner, and there was no compensation offered. A functioning hot water system is a basic expectation for any hotel, and not having it significantly impacted my stay.

The room was small but well laid out. They put a portable A/C in the room to help with the unusually hot temperatures. Very well located. Excellent breakfast. Staff were helpful and kind. Elevator was tiny but not unusual for old buildings. Would definitely stay again.

Simple hotel with everything you need. Right across the street from the main train station. So it is convenient and right on Bahnhofstraße with easy access to everything.

Location is unbeatable: Seefeld is a beautiful, elegant and calm neighbourhood, but still very close to Old Town and its attractions. One block from the lake, and close to the Utoquai bathhouse. Many nice restaurants and quaint shops in the area. Several tram lines to take you anywhere. Room was spacious and everything worked. Very easy to check-in, check-out.
