"The property was as described in listing. It was clean and had beds made with linens and towels folded and waiting for us. The area is beautiful without another house in sight once you arrive at front porch. We only stayed one night for our Koebel's trip, but it was very relaxing and quiet for the night. It is a 15 min trip to the amusement park which was great for us. We were able to slow down after a busy day and it was great to be able to heat up some food after we realized we were starving....

"Lots of fun for the girls. Down by the river. Around the fire at night. Swimming in Mifflinburg and going to Chilly Willy’s for ice cream. "

"The apartment has a great downtown location with off street parking which is a big plus. The unit was exceptionally clean and recently remodeled. The one word of caution is the outside stairs to the apartment can be tricky to maneuver with luggage.All in all, a very pleasant stay."

"Definitely a picturesque, remote setting. Enjoyed experiencing an Amish way of living. Being "off the grid" was a good experience. "

"Very nice cabin and close to the creek."

"Very nice cottages. The shower was very small and the water pressure is poor. Everything else was lovely!"

"We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. "

"Wonderful property. Close to Bucknell University and a great place to stay for school events. I highly recommend it. "

"Beautiful, well maintained cabin inside and out. Private location beside a creek, surrounded by woods yet very close to everything you need. Will hopefully rent it again. "

"The cabin was cozy and secluded - a great way to spend our anniversary! The weather wasn't great, but we were only 15 minutes from our favorite antique mall, and we spent the time at the cabin watching old movies on VCR, reading, and just relaxing on the porch. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities we needed. "

"This farm house had everything we needed. Privacy galore! Enjoyed family time sitting around a campfire listening to the frogs sing from a nearby pond.House was clean and beds were very comfortable. The host immediately responded to any questions we had. We were able to take our dog who had lots of space to investigate. A most enjoyable couple of days at “Grandmas House”. "

"We spent two nights to enjoy a full day in the state forests. The cabin was very clean. It's exactly as pictured. A small space with a couple beds and a table. The showers are a 2-3 minute walk from the cabin, or a shorter drive. The check-in/check-out process was very easy."

"The listing pictures tell the story. The home is clean and comfortable, decorated and furnished in a fun way, and provides all you need for a relaxing riverside retreat or an adventurous vacation. This property also serves as a convenient hideaway for Bucknell University events. Of all the rental properties we've stayed at over the years, this was one of our favorites. Easy self check-in and great communication from the host. "

"The property was located in a nice quiet area and easy to find. The host did a great job communicating with me. Home is super clean and spacious. The gardens or flowers around the home were beautiful. This home can definitely accommodate a whole family and still have plenty of room to be comfortable. Would definitely book again Places close to Mountain View Barn where they have wedding and closer then a hotel. Rickets Glen only 20 minutes away. A small town Millville is not even 2 miles away...

"I grew up in this neighborhood 35 years ang and it was a joy to return and spend time in the woods that I once ran around in. Great property. Great communication. "

"My family and I needed a place to stay while visiting Williamsport to support our dad as he underwent major surgery and recovery. I found the Mountain House, saw the photos and it looked like just what we needed. And the house didn't disappoint! It feels like a home, which was exactly what we hoped for and needed - a place to relax in between hospital visits, and place to rest comfortably and make dinner. The kitchen is the most well-equipped kitchen I've ever had the joy of using during a VRBO...
