This new one-bedroom / one bath modern shipping container home is nestled on 5 acres of private property and offers 3 large French doors, high ceilings, and lots of windows for a spacious and modern feel. It is perfect for a romantic couple's getaway.

Step from your tranquil and cozy bedroom suite onto the private deck where you can enjoy a relaxing evening soaking in the 3-person Hot tub while taking in the stunning night sky, or stroll over to the tasting room at Le Petit Chevalier vineyard and winery right next door. Spend the day kayaking, canoeing, swimming, or fishing on Lake Logan (34 min. drive) or Lake Hope (24 min. drive)

The cabin was nice and cozy, and it was very clean. All switches were clearly labeled so there was no guessing as to what they controlled. The grill was clean and there was extra propane if needed. There was a slight issue with the hot tub not heating properly, but they communicated quickly about it and sent a tech to take a look at it. When he was not able to correct the issue while we were there, the host proactively offered us a partial refund to make up for our inconvenience. We were very very impressed. Excellent little cabin and excellent hosts, 10/10. 100% would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy little getaway.

Loved the property! They provided everything we needed and had many nice touches from coffee, teas, creamer and snacks! There is a cute winery right close by and the caves in Hocking Hills State Park. Would definitely book again!

We really enjoyed our weekend in the shipping container. It was a unique experience. The owners really thought of everything with lots of amenities. It was all clean and new and well maintained. There was everything you needed to cook including cooking spray and spices and new pans. Plus they left little things like snacks and k cups for the Kuerig. The small space was well thought out making it quite comfortable for a couple.

Perfect Getaway!

This house was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to explore Hocking Hills and this property was a short drive to all the spots. An added bonus was the super close proximity of a market with a great food truck and a cute little winery. The container house was cute and in immaculate condition.

Clean, quiet and a good location. Hosts did a great job stocking anything that might be needed, especially enjoyed the board games during the rain. Husband wants to move into a shipping container now, lol.

Beautiful, cozy, spot, near everything

Had the best stay this past week! The homemade beautiful, the property is peaceful, the owners were amazing to work with. Le Petit Chev is a great winery open right down the road, a definite check out! Super close to Ash Cave, Rock House and Old Man’s. Loved our time there! Thank you!

Perfect little getaway!

This property is clean, has a great location and is the perfect spot to stay! We loved being close to all of the hiking and things to do in the area and going to the quietness of this property each evening! Definitely recommend! :)

Our stay

The house was very cute and nice. The only downside was there were ants all in the kitchen when we got there and we had trouble with them the whole stay. Also the hot tub water was very nasty but other than that we had a great time and stay!

Husband & wife short getaway

My wife and I wanted to get away and celebrate the 20th anniversary of our 1st date, which was May 8th of 2005. This place was perfect. It was clean, and the location was great. For me, the fact it was beside a church and graveyard simply added to the charm. There is also a nice country store across the way, and a winery a short distance up the road. The hosts thought of everything, having pretty much anything a person would need on site. I've never stayed in a place where so much thought and care was shown by the hosts in making sure guests like ourselves had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Easily 5 stars, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much for being part of a positive, memorable experience.
