"The staff was very nice. The general condition of the property screams of poor maintenance. Torn curtains patched with duct tape, worn carpet and nonfunctional equipment. Even the exterior has rotted out boards. Crazy disappointment for a MARRIOTT property. Don’t pay your good money on this property. "

"The price was fair, but the location isn’t very convenient for getting into Chicago—especially in March weather. We ended up spending a lot on Ubers. Breakfast was great, and the staff there were very kind and attentive. The gym is cramped and not well maintained—dirty mats, only two treadmills, and one was unplugged (though it worked once plugged in). We didn’t try the pool. Overall, the stay was fine until the end. "Mold in the shower, room heat/ac constantly blew some sort of dust and debris into the air. Only two smallish bath towels for two people - minimal at best. Breakfast was also sparse and I hope you like a parcooked egg thing that didn’t qualify for the omelet name it was given. That’s the best way to state the condition of the room and property - minimal at best. Disappointing for a Hampton Inn. "
