"The village retreat is a beautiful home with very thoughtful amenities. The welcome basket was full of goodies and a great start to the stay. This is a great place to stay for families with tweens and teens as we had ample usage of the ping pong table, croquet set, chess set, and fire pit. The coffee/tea set up is amazing with an easy to use espresso machine and drip coffee maker as well as an electric kettle with many tea varieties. "This beautiful property has a private gated entrance a long driveway to the cabin so if you want to be secluded and have privacy, this is it! We had a great time walking the property. It has a firepit to sit and enjoy the going down and sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows! The cabin is adorable very cozy and clean. It was a little nervous with the stairs to the loft, but it was no big deal has the bunk beds and a fouton couch bed as well it has just about anything you might need as far as...

"Adorable cabin, well stocked, and great location just seconds from the public boat launch and park. They have added a mattress to the loft as well which made it perfect for our teens. Comfy beds and great outdoor space, even in the rain. "

"We had a very pleasant stay. The house was very clean and really cute. The Christmas decoration were left up into January as the host knew we were having a belated Christmas family gathering. We really appreciated that and we loved all the Christmas decor. The house fit our needs perfectly. We would stay here again."

"The house was perfect for us. We had a funeral, and the house was a “stop by” place for friends and family. It could not have been nicer. Beautiful view, peaceful place. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and supplies. Comfortable beds! Ping pong and foosball tables kept the kids entertained while the grown ups talked. :)"

"We loved this cabin, deck, and hot tub. The river is awesome, but there is a constant flow of dump trucks accessing the gravel pit on the week days, and there happened to also be an excavator and chainsaw going next door on the weekend, so it was pretty noisy throughout our stay."
