"I stayed here after tramping of routeburn track. I was so exthousted after walking over 15km under the sun, the staff kindly welcomed us. Everything I experienced here was so beautiful and comforting. Fortunatly, the weather was fine so we could view the exquisit view of the mountains and lake. "Wow! An amazing experience at a beautiful property, with outstanding service. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels in NZ, and this was truly the highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the room is beautiful. But the staff are what make the place really special. "We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. A delightful stay."

"The room we had was very nice and spotless. The reception lady was polite and helpful. The only problem we had was when we tried to go for dinner. We arrived at 8;05pm to be told that it closed at 8pm and that there was not enough food for us as they were only doing a buffet."

"This is an excellent place to stay. Clean, modern, with friendly and helpful staff. 5 minutes or less walk to the main drag, and there’s a supermarket right around the corner, as well as the bus stop including the airport route."
