"The room was very nice with lots of room for luggage and it had all the necessary amenities as well as the little extras like cookies and chocolate. The hosts were great, giving us lots of useful information and the breakfast they provided was wonderful. The heated bathroom floors were a real luxury."

"The Dairy Private Hotel was the perfect location, just a block from the gondola, a couple blocks from the Center for all my tour pick ups, and also center of town for shopping and dining. Location was important to me as a solo traveler. No need to take an Uber anywhere. It was more like a bed and breakfast hotel with it's warm and cozy charm. Breakfast was included. They also have daily wine and cheese happy hour around the living room fire place, where I met and chatted with many nice travelers...

"Mel and Mark were great hosts. The accommodation was spotless with added touches - fresh milk daily. Location was ideal - for Milford Sounds, Glow worm caves, etc. Highly recommended! "

"Amazing! This was better than I expected for a motel. I wish I stayed longer. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious, and had great views of the lake and mountains. The receptionist was also very friendly. Would come again. "

"Exceptional staff (shout out to Max in particular). Room was spacious, amazing view, phenomenal shower pressure and loved the stroll along the lake to town or the option for the shuttle to and from. Truly amazing experience. Would stay again for sure and highly recommend to all! "
