  • Esta villa independiente con hermosa piscina es nuestra casa en el sur de Francia. Reserve como su base, y venga y explore esta área alrededor de Maureillas y Ceret en el Languedoc-Rosellón, una de las regiones menos conocidas de Francia. Hay tanto que ver y hacer, o simplemente relajarse con una copa de vino alrededor de la piscina, en la playa ...

    La villa se centra en 1/2 acres de jardines con una gran piscina lo suficientemente grande como para jugar, y con una profundidad adecuada (1. 8 m). Hay estacionamiento disponible para varios autos en el camino.
    El diseño es principalmente de planta abierta con la cocina que da a dos áreas de comedor separadas, y dos áreas de salón. La mayoría de las habitaciones, incluidas tres de las habitaciones, tienen puertas dobles hacia una terraza exterior que le da una sensación de amplitud y aireación al lugar. También está la "habitación" exterior, con mesa y sombrilla para 10 personas, y la barbacoa de carbón Dancook para entretener al aire libre en esos largos días de verano. La propiedad es igualmente atractiva en invierno con TV / selección de DVD, chimenea, libros, juegos de mesa y rompecabezas.
    Hay 2 habitaciones dobles y 3 dobles, lo que hace que la casa sea ideal para 2 familias que deseen pasar sus vacaciones juntas o para un grupo de parejas o amigos que disfrutan juntos de una fiesta en la casa. La habitación doble principal tiene una amplia sala de baño con ducha con una gran ducha "cuarto húmedo", lavabo e inodoro. El segundo doble y uno de los gemelos comparten el baño familiar, que cuenta con bañera, ducha separada, lavabos, bidet y wc. Sube por una escalera de caracol de madera y encontrarás 2 habitaciones dobles que comparten un baño con ducha, lavabo y wc.
    El acceso a la propiedad es a través de una atractiva escalera exterior para llegar a la terraza superior y la puerta de entrada. Por lo tanto, no es apropiado para cualquier persona que requiera acceso para discapacitados. La propiedad se encuentra en las estribaciones de los Pirineos y está construida en el lado de la colina, por lo que el nivel de la planta baja en la parte trasera de la propiedad es el primer piso en la parte delantera. Esto se puede ver tras un examen cuidadoso de las fotografías.

The house and the property as well as the location are great. The pool was excellent and was cleaned regularly. Communication was always flawless and very prompt. The house was very spacious even for a group of ten people. We can recommend the villa without reservation and will be happy to return.

Excellent

Lots of space both inside and out, very well equipped. It was well looked after, and the owner dealt with any issues straight away. Good location, and local Spar shop had a good range of stock including bread and croissants.

Maison bien équipée, adaptée pour des groupes de 10 personnes. La situation entre terre et mer offre beaucoup de possibilités. Proprietaire réactif et tres cordial. Je conseille vivement.

A fantastic holiday

A really lovely villa in a delightful village just up the road from Ceret. It’s large, very well equipped and the ceiling fans (or air con) in all bedrooms were much appreciated in this year’s heat. The pool is stunning and better than the photograph. There are several beautiful spots around the house to sit in either sun or shade. We hope to be back soon!

We spent two weeks at this lovely family home from home. The house is spacious and well appointed and the fibre internet kept our teenage daughter happy…! There is air-con in the upstairs bedroom and ping-pong and bikes you can use downstairs; along with a washing machine etc. The pool is superb! More than big enough and really deep, the pool-man comes often to keep it nice and clean. The garden gives the house total privacy and the gated drive makes everyone feel safe. The village is peaceful with a well appointed Spar and lovely Boulangerie. We were a family of five but it would easily accommodate two families. A perfect spot to explore the Pyrenees and beaches - we also popped over to Spain.

Fabulous family holiday

We had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful house. There were 9 of us ranging in age from 17 to 81. The house is huge and there was more than enough space for us all. It was very hot in the first week so we got a lot of use out of the pool. It is a lovely pool, deep enough to dive into and bigger than it looks on the picture. There is plenty of outdoor space, with an outdoor eating area at the back of the house and seating and a coffee table at the front. The Wi-Fi worked well which was a big plus for the younger members of the party! We ate at El Tap, the bar in the village a few times- lovely tapas and very friendly and helpful staff! We also went into Ceret and Collioure for evening meals. Collioure is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. We also visited Argeles, Banyuls-sur-Mer and went over the border to Roses. All were easy to get to. The village shops and bar are all in easy walking distance. The nearest large supermarket was in Ceret, about 10 min away in the car. All in all we had a fabulous time and would love to return

Spacious villa between mountains and coast.

Second visit. Spacious, well equipped villa. Some air-conditioning plus ceiling fans meant it was comfortable even in the very hot weather. Large pool was also help in keeping cool and well lit outside terrace ideal for eating al fresco.

Plenty of space for the whole group to 'do their thing' and well equipped with extras like pool, bikes, table tennis, boules ...... Will be booking again.

Oase der Ruhe

wunderbares Haus mit viel Platz und schönem Pool. Gut eingerichtet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Sehr ruhige Umgebung, ideal für Familien und Gruppen welche einen erholsamen Urlaub verbringen möchten. Aufgrund der etwas abgelegenen Lage nicht geeignet für Nachtschwärmer welche Ausgehmöglichkeiten suchen.

Great pool and lovely village

We had a great week, two families with young children. Pool was amazing, big enough to properly play and swim in and warm enough too. Being walking distance to the local town made a big difference and meant we could pop down for croissants and bread every morning. Two twin rooms are up a quite creaky and narrow staircase so not really suitable for young kids although our 7 year olds were fine. Lovely and quiet, great stay all round.

Belle propriété dans un écrin de verdure

We had very nice holidays. The house is big and the pool just perfect. Very easy to reach the nice beaches of Argelès and the nice village Collioure . A few tools were missing in the kitchen (such as pan, toaster, microwave... in case you want to increase) but not a big deal. All of us enjoy and we were a family from 12 years old to eighty ! Thanks for your confidence for the easy access . I’ve no problem to recommend this villa for holidays !

Lovely holiday

A group of nine of us stayed in this villa for a week. We found it to be very comfortable and clean. The villa has a lovely flow, with lots of space and is beautifully decorated. I particularly enjoyed the art work. We all enjoyed the pool and the table tennis and we ate on the patio every evening. We found the kitchen to be very well equipped for our needs. Some of the glasses look marked and I think it has been caused by the dishwasher but apart from that everything was fine. We also thought that it would be nice to have a couple more sun loungers as there were not enough for everyone., but again not a massive issue for our busy kids. Michael and Jane were both very helpful and responsive to issues. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely villa to future visitors. Would recommend the area too. We visited Collioure, Castelnou and had a brilliant day out at Aqua Brava water park across the border in Roses. We didn't use the bikes provided in the villa but several of our party brought road bikes and really enjoyed the excellent routes in the area. Thank you for a great holiday.

Our family of 10 were absolutely delighted with our stay!

The villa is spacious, well designed and fantastically located on the edge of Maureillas-las-Ilas. We could not have hoped for more. The kitchen and dining areas were comfortable and well equiped. The pool and outside areas were ideal for our family of 10. We appreciated the Table Tennis and being able to use the bikes - cycling to Ceret in 25 minutes. The local village has a lovely square with 2 restaurants and a number of bars - we greatly enjoyed Catalan dancing one evening. A local lake outside St Jean Plat de Corts provided several activities for the children; zip wire, `go-ape`, pedalos, paddle boards and an inflatable obstacle course - great fun! Jane was very friendly and helpful with all our enquiries. We even had a local black cat befriend us and add to the sense of home and fun. We can`t wait to come back next year. Many thanks.

We came back for the second year we loved it so much the first time. Yet again fantastic

Highly recommend it the villa is gorgeous the surroundings are stunning we will be coming again next year. There is something for everyone.
