"We recently stayed here as we were flying in overseas for a wedding. The location was perfect, however that is the only positive. Sadly the listing was nothing as described. Communication was appalling ,we prebooked this almost a year in advance. Days before we were due to arrive I reached out and received nothing. We absolutely loved this lodge. The privacy was exceptional, and the property is located on a beautifully maintained farm with fresh, clean country air.
Being so close to Hobbiton made the experience even more special. Waking up in the morning felt like stepping into Hobbiton itself, surrounded by peaceful farmland and stunning scenery.

"Pros: Lovely property; we really enjoyed the stay.Cons:Water pressure in the shower was poor. Security concern: on the morning of check out we found an empty bottle beer on the steps are the rear. This was not there the day before. We were concerned if there had been a prowler during the night."
