"Really wish I'd booked at least 2 nights here at this beautiful property in this beautiful location! I was visiting from USA w/ my wife and we had great time. I took a little carriage ride across the street through the park, saw the Muckross house, saw some old buildings, had some great strolls, and had fun at the spa as well. Amazing service and beautiful clean rooms! Thanks for the hospitality. "

"Ein altes Gebäude, das aber laufend modernisiert wurde. Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Frühstück ist gut. Im Barbereich bewegt sich die Barkeeperin leider keinen cm hinter der Theke weg. Der Gast muss dann halt die Tische reinigen. (Getränke holen sowieso) Geht gar nicht."

"Booked it really last minute— Room was clean, bed was nice! However , if you are over 6ft, like my husband, expect your feet to dangle a bit. But it was comfy for us either way!! Shower was great, breakfast was yummy! You have the choice of Irish or American! staff are so sweet & accommodating - my dad had a complaint about noise and they were so sweet about everything! Thank you! "

"The room was pleasant, well furnished, clean and tidy. My only minor complaint would be that for some reason it was very warm in the room which was surprising considering the radiator was turned off and it was late March. The staff are excellent as is the location which is literally a couple of minutes from the Main Street. The breakfast was excellent and made to order with plenty of imaginative choices. I would highly recommend as it is reasonably priced as well. "

"We booked the hotel due to food being served, when we arrived there was no food during the week and only at weekend which was not reflected on the website. Room was not as described, very small, en-suite had mould all in shower, ceiling and it was dirty. ( see photos below ). Bed was damp, cold, springs had gone in mattress, room smelt of damp, was cold, carpet dirty very worn and overall the room was dirty.
