- Positioned on the edge of the popular village of Cromford, guests can explore the local countryside on foot along the various routes that lead from the doorstep – head to the famous High Peak Junction visitors centre, Cromford Canal, or the High Peak trail leading to the Black Rocks and Tissington Trail. The famous Chatsworth House and Gardens along with Haddon Hall are within 10 miles and well worth a visit too. See the landscape from up high by taking a ride on the Heights of Abraham cable car at Matlock Bath, just 2 miles away. For an afternoon of exploring, the pretty market town of Bakewell (13 miles) on the River Wye is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Situated next to the A6 and accessed via the M1 motorway or the railway stations at Matlock or Whatstandwell, this property is a great base for exploring the natural beauty of the Peak District National Park.
Step into the stylish kitchen with a beautiful flagstone floor offering everything you need to bring together a celebration meal such as an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. In a converted outbuilding, there is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC. Outside the enclosed garden offers a patio with outdoor seating, BBQ and a large hot tub seating eight. There is also a large lawn ideal for games and letting dogs run off steam. There is off-road parking for six cars.
