Cozy one bedroom cottage available for rent. Great location. Short walk to private beach. Air conditioning, new BBQ, nice furniture and all linens and kitchen supplies provided. This is the perfect spot to spend your summer vacation. Close to the Popponesset Inn, the Raw Bar and so many terrific restaurants.

Wonderful spot. Cute cottage. A few items were not working properly and I noted upon check in with owner. No communication back. Nothing was a big deal, so we went on with our stay, and all was good. The beach is amazing and the walk to the little village with the Raw Bar is lovely. We’ll rent in Maushop again.

Cute place; short walk to a private beach

Overall, I was pleased with the rental and Scott’s communication was great. It was clean, small but roomy enough for two. The exception was the kitchen. It was very hard for 2 people to be in there at the same time so we had to stagger our meal prep. The only other complaint is that the a/c doesn’t get to the bedroom well enough, especially if you have the door closed or mostly closed, and neither of the ceiling fans worked, so it was a bit too warm sleeping in there. The smoke alarm also malfunctioned and woke us in the middle of the night twice. I let Scott know and hopefully he’ll get that looked at.

Wonderful

Very pleased with our stay and accommodations were perfect for my husband and myself. It would have been nice to see some communication from host but we are not needy travelers so no big deal.

Quick trip to Cape Cod

The property is located in a Beautiful community. The property manager, Scott, is very responsive and accommodating. Nice property. My son and I had a very enjoyable stay. Beautiful beach at the end of the street. Definitely recommend!!!!

Wonderful New Seabury trip!

This cottage was the perfect summer vacation spot. Walking distance from the Raw Bar and the private beach were the best parts. Ideal location!

Horrible. Place nad mold. Wife got sick and i didnt get refund. We had to leave 2 days into our 12 day rental the mold smell was so bad. Fans didnt work, stove top didnt work. Very bad process dealing with vrbo and the host

Charming cottage in a great location!

My husband and I were very impressed by this charming little cottage. Very clean and the perfect Cape Cod getaway. Centrally located to the beach, shops and restaurants and close enough for a day trip to Boston. Would definitely stay in this cottage again!

We had a great time at your cottage it was really nice. Everything went smoothly. We loved our stay. Thank you Scott for allowing us to stay there. The parking was convenient and the cottage was decorated nicely. Great location, walking distance to Pomponessett.

Location = great ~ Property/Owner = ehhh

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the hidden gem of New Seabury! HOWEVER, I’ll rent from a DIFFERENT OWNER next time! Not sure how this one is a “super owner”. Must be based solely on number of properties owned - NOT customer service! 1. HUGE hornets nest right outside the door. Made him aware upon check-in and nothing was done. 2. Outdoor shower/foot wash was broken, so had to wipe down outside so as to not bring half the beach sand inside 3. Ceiling fan in bedroom was broken. When I texted him to ask if it was, his response was “might be”. The air conditioning unit does not cool the bedroom. When I mentioned this to him, he said, “the nights are cool enough. You can open a window” 4 Finally, the check-out instructions sent in his message were downright rude - and sounded like they were written by a 10 year old. For what he charges per night, the expectation is that everything is functional.
