"We stayed in one of the yurts there are 2. The check in instructions were very clear. The yurt was cosy especially when we lit the fire (wood provided). We had a great nights sleep. "

"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"Do not stay here if you are disabled or unable to carry your bags up a steep flight of outdoor metal stairs. The unit I stayed in is a refurbished attic. It’s well done and has a kitchenette. But, there does not appear to be any air conditioning. There is heat. I was there when it was cool, but it’s a second floor bedroom so it’s probably hot in the summer. "We had an absolute fantastic time at the farm. Our host Micheal was very accommodating and was an all around gentleman. The facilties were in perfect condition and the rooms were very clean. The room has a fantastic view - the pictures don't do it justice. The animals were a definite highlight of our stay. We got the chance to feed the animals twice everyday. Our daughter loved it! This is a perfect spot whether you are a solo traveler, with a partner, or with kids. Highly recommend it."

"This property was excellent, it provided everything we needed and more. Michael, our host, was very friendly and helpful. The area was beautiful and very quiet. Communication through Vrbo left a lot to be desired. We had problems accessing the app to find out details which was not the fault of our host Michael."

"Cottage was in a lovely location very peaceful setting however there were a couple cleanliness issues, black mould on alot of the tiles in the shower, the shower is definitely not made for anyone bigger than a size 14 and lots of limescale on the shower head the bed frame was very dusty and the toilet kept dumping water periodically which was annoying at night also we didn't realise you had to " book" the hot tub, that being said its was a lovely relaxing break and would definitely stay there...

"We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean. "Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter."
